Post 1

When I typed forgiveness into my search engine many different things came up. Pictures of forgiveness were at the top, followed by the websites. Forgiveness quotes, forgiveness psychology, what the bible says about forgiveness, forgiveness project and a campaign for forgiveness research were all on the first page of the search. When I typed in reconciliation, four websites came up with the definition of it, and the official website for the reconciliation movie popped up. When I typed in revenge, all of the websites that popped up except two were for ABCs tv show. The other two were about Facebook revenge, and something about Kristen Bell and revenge. The term that produced more results was forgiveness. I think this because it’s a major thing that many people have trouble with. Some of the sites I feel were completely random, and that they wouldn’t help at all.

  1. I couldn’t agree with you more about why the term “forgiveness” produced the most results. People often times search the internet to search for answers to their questions, or just to gain overall knowledge. Forgiveness can be a hard concept to grasp, or even understand for that matter. This leads me to believe the forgiveness would have the most search results because it extremely common for people to be in a situation involving someone where they want to forgive them, yet that just don’t know how to. Though I don’t recommend searching the internet to answer all of your questions it does provide excellent incite into various situations.

  2. Country girl,
When I answered this question and researched all three concepts, I saw a lot of the things that you have mentioned. For forgiveness, I saw a lot of biblical quotes and same goes for reconciliation. A lot of positive talks how to solve it why it is important. When I got to the revenge for myself I saw a lot of negative, to me I saw as it had more about revenge because it was a negative. I shared that if a person were get into a fight what would there initial reaction be? Mines would be to seek revenge right away. I just felt like topics about negative stuff has a lot more then something that is positive. Great post keep up the great work.

  3. I totally agree with your post. When I typed forgiveness, reconciliation, and revenge the same type of websites appeared. For example the websites focused on religions view about the term, counseling services to help one practice forgiveness, and a lot of other random sites that had little to do with the term. Forgiveness was the term that produced the most result for me also and I agree that reason why it produced the most results because it a feeling that troubles many us. I also feel that forgiveness had the most results because it is practiced in many religions such as Christianity and Islam and feels good to forgive others.
