I liked many aspects of this class. I took a class with
professor Perez before online, and it was a lot of fun. I liked how everything
is laid out for you in the class, and how quick professor Perez was to respond
when I had questions, and that’s what made me decide to take another one, and I
am glad I did. I love the weekly posts that tell us exactly what we are
supposed to do, and when they are due. I really liked our class book as well. I
thought it taught me a lot of things that I had absolutely no idea about before
this class. It also made me less stressful about handling conflict. The only
thing I didn’t like about the class was that I felt the directions for the
final workshop were very vague. I didn’t know what was exactly wanted on it and
that stressed me out just a tad. But, I would definitely recommend this class
to another student!
I understand what you mean by being stressed out by the workshop. But I think the reason the instructions were so vague was to make us really think about the assignment. It gave us an opportunity to build the workshop based off of our interpretation of the guidelines. I agree that Professor Perez was extremely quick when answering our questions. I don't think I ever had to wait more than a few hours to hear back from her! I feel like she is really passionate about her job, which made me want to work hard. I hope to take more classes with her in the future.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post about liken the class. I agree that professor Perez makes everything easy and laid out there. I also took a class with her couple semesters ago and I enjoyed it also. She doesn't give any surprises and the class is straight forward, its just a matter of doing the work, and studying hard. Yeah this class helped me better understand conflict in general, I am more aware how to handle different situations because of this class. She really cares for her students, and the feedback she gave on projects and papers helped me become a better editor/writer. I hope Professor Perez teaches more classes than the one's I have taken so far.
